Motivate yourself (Chapter 1 Eight Essential Elements to Employment)

Is your head in the right space to convince the universe that you are the best candidate for the job? Start with your powerhouse, use your mind and motivate yourself!

By doing so, you will be taking your first step onto the path that will lead you to greater fulfilment in your working life.

If you don’t believe in yourself, and act like you don’t believe in yourself, then you will have trouble convincing a stranger to believe in you in a 30 minute interview. So, start by motivating yourself!

If you expect success, you wont take knockbacks personally; you will understand it is just part of the process. Missing out on a job gives you the chance to be better prepared for the next one. View it as a dress rehearsal for the right job for you. It is one step closer to success.

If you believe in the way the universe works, you could think, “it wasn’t meant to be” or “if something is worth having, its worth working for”. Sure they are old adages but never the less, commonly believed ones.

Try not to fall into the “woe is me” trap, Sometimes referred to in American self-help books as “stinkin’ thinkin’ ” – this is to be avoided at all costs!

Turn your thinking around and notice the difference it makes.
